Je ne puis résister à recopier la conclusion :

Au final, la Bourse iranienne du Pétrole pourrait éventuellement ouvrir ses portes le mois prochain, même si l'absence de communication officielle ne plaide pas en ce sens. D'autant que le titulaire du ministère du Pétrole a changé il y a seulement trois mois. Et qu'on ne sait pas si Hamaneh prendra la direction suivie par Zanganeh, ni même si Assemipour, l'architecte du projet sous la présidence Khatami, est encore en poste sous celle d'Ahmadinejad.

Cependant, une chose est sûre : le discours des médias officiels iraniens autour de ce sujet est devenu nettement plus incisif depuis l'arrivée au pouvoir du nouveau président et la crise nucléaire. Mais on attend toujours que cela se traduise dans les faits.

Enfin, et en réponse à la polémique initiale, si la Bourse du Pétrole d'Iran est bien un projet en cours du gouvernement iranien, la cotation du pétrole brut, de surcroît en euros, ne nous semble absolument pas confirmée par les éléments et les sources que nous avons consultés.

Le pétrole remonte au-dessus de 63 USD, avant une semaine à hauts risques

NEW YORK (AFP) - Les prix du pétrole ont à nouveau progressé jeudi, soutenus de nouvelles menaces d'attaques contre les installations pétrolières du Nigeria, et à l'approche d'une semaine qui s'annonce à hauts risques pour le marché pétrolier.

"La peur soutient les cours", a souligné Bill O'Grady, analyste chez AG Edwards. "Les prix du pétrole remontent avant le week-end car lundi doit être publié le rapport de l'AIEA sur l'Iran".

L'Agence internationale de l'énergie atomique (AIEA) se réunit lundi à Vienne, et pourrait proposer à l'Onu de prendre des sanctions contre Téhéran. L'Iran, deuxième plus important producteur de l'Opep, est soupçonné par les Occidentaux de cacher des ambitions militaires derrière un programme nucléaire civil.

Autre événément susceptible de mettre le marché sous tension la semaine prochaine: la réunion mercredi de l'Organisation des pays exportateurs de pétrole (Opep), aussi à Vienne.

Elle est d'autant plus attendue après les propos tenus mercredi par le président en exercice du cartel. Le ministre nigérian du pétrole, Edmund Daukoru, a affirmé que 60 dollars était un prix "équitable" pour le baril de brut et que le marché ne commencerait à s'inquiéter que si les cours atteignaient 70 dollars.

La plupart des analystes tablent néanmoins sur un statu quo de la production de l'Organisation en raison du niveau élevé des prix du brut.

Enfin sur le front nigérian, "quelques otages ont été libérés hier (mercredi) mais les militants continuent à se faire menaçants", a relevé Phil Flynn, analyste chez Alaron Trading.

DAMASCUS -- The Syrian government is to use euros instead of US dollars in its budgets upon the decision of the US treasury that stipulates barring any transactions between American banks and the Commercial Bank of Syria.

The U.S. Treasury Department said Thursday that U.S. banks must close any accounts they have with the two Syrian banks, as part of an effort to crack down on terrorist financing. The order covers the Commercial Bank of Syria and its subsidiary, the Syrian Lebanese Commercial Bank.

The Syrian government's decision is to cover its overdue exportation, importation and services payments and to protect the national economy.

Syria has switched all of the state's foreign currency transactions to euros from dollars upon political confrontations with the United States, the head of state-owned Commercial Bank of Syria Duraid Durgham said.

Durgham said, adding that this decision is important and necessary at a moment when the Americans are threatening Syria in a way that could complicate banking operations between Syria and European countries.

This decision represents the strong Syrian relation with the European Union, that is considered the first commercial partner to Syria, he said.

The United States has been heading international pressure on Syria for its alleged role in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Al-Hariri and aiding the crisis in Iraq which Syria denies.

Syria has been under US sanctions since May 2004, meaning it can not import American products other than food and medication.

Syria surprised world financial markets when it announced that it would stop dealing in dollars in all official institutions and in import-export contracts replacing them with euros in case the US intensifies sanctions on Damascus.

Euros are also to be used in paying back sums owed by state institutions to foreign parties.

Minister of Finance Mohammad Al-Hussein said that this action comes in the framework of continuing pressures on Syria for political considerations, adding that Syria was not surprised by the American treasury decision.

Al-Hussein added that the Central Bank of Syria, as any government bank, is implementing international laws against money laundry and support of terrorism.

He pointed out that all Iraqi government accounts were transferred to Iraq last September according to an Iraqi-Syrian understanding memorandum.

Al-Hussein asserted that the Syrian Central Bank will continue in its transactions with its international partners and clients, adding that the bank is supported by the government.

Syrian governmental sources said that this decision is an attempt "to keep the Syrian economy away from the mercy of the American dollar," as American laws stipulate that any conversion into dollars must go through the American banking system.

US threats against Syria would result in complicating the banking transactions and the transfer operations into the country from corresponding international banks in Europe.

TEHRAN: Establishment of an oil stock market in the Persian Gulf island of Kish would play a significant role in improving interactions with the global economy, said deputy head of Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO), Abdolrahman Nadimi.
He noted that Kish has suitable potential for economic, tourism and service activities, therefore building infrastructural facilities and developing financial undertakings in the island's monetary and capital markets are the top priorities of the KFZO, reported the Persian daily Donya-e Eqtesad.
The official stated that with the launching of a stock exchange and the establishment of a number of foreign banks branches in Kish, an international oil-gas and petrochemical bourse would significantly help develop the island's economy and transform Iran into an active country in the field of international oil transactions.
Nadimi pointed to the strategic location of Kish in the Persian Gulf, which holds 65 percent of the world's energy reserves, adding the island is an important base for companies involved in oil and gas projects.
"A large number of giant oil companies have transferred their offices to Kish Island which is located close to oil exploration and drilling regions.At present a major part of the logistic activities of South Pars gas field (Asalouyeh) are being conducted from Kish Island.
A senior hydrocarbon industry official recently confirmed reports that a giant gas field has been discovered off the Persian Gulf island of Kish.
Seyyed Mahmoud Mohaddes said it is unlikely that the field will have more gas than South Pars.
Iran's Bourse Council has given the go ahead for the establishment of the first oil, gas and petrochemical stock market of Iran in Kish Island on July 2005.

Kish, Hormuzgan province - About dlrs 3.5 billion investment has been made in southern kish Island in few years up to end of the current Iranian calendar year of 1383 (to end on March 20).

The Public Relations and International Affairs Department at kish Free Trade Zone reports that private sector's investment has been about nine times higher than that of the public sector.

There are about 60 hotels with 9,000 beds hosting Iranian and foreign tourists in kish Island. kish Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Persian Gulf, receiving about one million Iranian and more than 100,000 foreign tourists a year.

Il me semblait qu'Oleocene (à tort ?) avait un but. Informer du problème du peakoil, et des bouleversements de société induits. Hors, depuis de (trop) nombreuses semaines l'essentiel des posts sont sur la bourse iranienne du pétrole (canular complet) ou le nucléaire iranien et la guerre future en Iran.
Une personne qui visite par hasard Oleocene ne voit que cela. Et encore, si c'était des analyses fines, précises et étayées ! Mais, il ne s'agit que de recopies de blogs sans intérets à 95%, bourrés d'erreurs et de contradictions. Au pire, cela allume des "guerres de religion". En tour cas, l'image d'Oleocene en sort terni. A mon avis.

@sceptique: 100% d'accord !!! (même plus si c'etait possible). Qu'il y ait des palmiers à Kish, n'importe quel aveugle le verrait !!! Mais en ce qui concerne le BIP (bourse iranienne du pétrole), il faut se faire une raison: ce n'est pas en déplacant le problème en bord de mer, (Kish) qu'on évitera de le faire prendre eau de toute part. Bon. Pour en revenir au fond du problème, c'était intéressant. Mais ce n'est pas en raclant tous les ragots du net sur une affaire devenue pour tout le monde un canular MDR qu'on fait tellement avancer le schmilblick !!!

Cependant, le fait que des journaux tels que le très sérieux quotidien autrichien "Der Standart" ou le célèbre magazine allemand "Spiegel" s'interessent au problème montre que ce canular était plus qu'une rumeur de comptoir.


Oleocene est un forum Internet et je pense que cela est important de reporter les informations, même incertaines pour dire ensuite ce qu'il en est. Pour cela, Oleocene a très bien rempli sons rôle. Ce n'est pas parce que l'information est peu/pas passée dans la grande presse française que cela ne doit pas être traité ici.

Bon. certes. Mais ca fait maintenant quatre mois qu'on tourne autour du pot du BIP. Le canular est avéré. Que le Spiegel et le Standart, LE MEME JOUR arrivent à la même conclusion c'est bien. Cela prouve surtout qu'Oléocène est devenu un forum grand public, qui est aussi bien informe sur le PO que le Spiegel et le Standart......(suuupeerrr). Et accessoirement que le Spiegel et le Standart se refilent leurs articles... (suuupeeerrr). Quand à ce que doit être un forum, son but n'est pas à mon avis de reporter N'importe quelle info. Sinon, il y a google qui est pas mal non plus. Le but d'un forum est de filtrer et de ne présenter que les infos dignent d'intérêt à l'attention d'un public averti. Quant à mon avis sur les canulars, c'est que les meilleurs blagues sont les plus courtes...Voilà !
