Oil Rig Count Incher Higher Amid Oil Price Rally

The total number of active drilling rigs for oil and gas in the United States rose this week, according to new data that Baker Hughes published on Friday.

The total rig count in the US rose this week to 550, according to Baker Hughes, down 35 from this same time last year.

The number of active oil rose by 2 in the reporting period, according to the data, reaching 420. Year over year, this represents a 60-rig decline. The number of gas rigs stayed the same at 121, which is 20 over this time last year. The miscellaneous rig count stayed the same at 9.

The latest EIA data showed that weekly U.S. crude oil production dipped for the first time in five weeks. In the week ending October 17, crude oil production slipped to 13.629 million bpd from 13.636 million bpd in the week prior, a record high.

The total number of active drilling rigs for oil and gas in the United States fell this week, according to new data that Baker Hughes published on Friday.

The total rig count in the US fell this week to 546, according to Baker Hughes, down 39 from this same time last year.

The number of active oil rigs fell in the reporting period, according to the data, sinking to 414. Year over year, this represents a 65-rig decline. The number of gas rigs rose by 4 to 125, which is 23 more than this time last year. The miscellaneous rig count fell by 2 to 7.

The latest EIA data showed that weekly U.S. crude oil production rose in the week ending October 24, with crude oil production reaching 13.644 million bpd—another new high—up from 13.629 million bpd in the week prior.

un autre élément inquiétant ou impressionnant suivant comme on le regarde est un chiffre sur lequel je suis tombé récemment.
Le nombre de DUC a été divisé par 2 en 2 ans ; passant de 2 000 à 1 000.
Cela traduit pour moi, la baisse des investissements dans le Permien et le maintien de la production actuelle en consommant du stock de puits.
le maintien du prix du pétrole au niveau actuel risque à un moment de ne plus pouvoir permettre le maintien de ce niveau de production. (ça on le sait mais là on va avoir un facteur accélérateur).
