Un premier extrait (presque) au hasard :
L'EIA a écrit :In 2030, the average real price of crude oil is projected to be above $59 per barrel in 2005 dollars, or about $95 per barrel in nominal dollars.
Autrement dit, l'EIA va même jusqu'à faire des prévisions sur le cours du dollar à long terme et le voit dévalué de 30% ???

Un autre extrait au hasard, qui concerne le seul marché US :
As a result of the growth in available capacity, total nuclear generation is projected to grow from 780 billion kilowatthours in 2005 to 896 billion kilowatthours in 2030. Even with the projected increase in nuclear capacity and generation, however, the nuclear share of total electricity generation is expected to fall from 19 percent in 2005 to 15 percent in 2030

Une notion qui paraît malheureusement inamovible chez les Etatsuniens est la croissance de la consommation d'énergie par habitant. On a l'impression qu'il serait insultant d'imaginer une consommation simplement en stagnation, et pourtant la courbe ne grimpe pas bien vite : petit problème mental visiblement.
